General
- What are the ages for Radius?
- Rising 7th graders (i.e. Graduated 6th graders) through high school.
- How many adults should we bring?
- 1 adult required for every 6 students
- Can Radius accommodate a student with special needs?
- We will do our best to work with our staff and facility staff to make the necessary accommodations for students with special needs. Call the Immersed4Students Office at 1-321-795-7027 and ask to speak to Rebekah or e-mail your question to rebekah@radiuscamps.com

Financial
- When are deposits due?
- Deposits of $25 per person are due April 15, 2010. Prices increase by $10 per person if deposits are received after April 15, 2010 unless prior arrangements have been made. Housing priority is determined by the date your deposit is received. .
- When is my final balance due?
- Your final balance, housing list and group leader agreement are due in the Radius Camp office no later than 14 days before Radius Camp begins. Groups who do not send final balance, rooming lists and group leader agreement to the office by this date will be charged a $100 late fee.
- Cancellations and Decreasing Your Number
- Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel your space after May 31, 2010. Deposits are non-transferable to your final balance if you decrease your number after June 15, 2010. An official registration number will be established for your group 14 days before Radius Camp begins. We will use your official registration number to calculate your final balance because of our commitments to camp locations. If you decrease your number or cancel inside 14 days before your event begins, you will be responsible for the full balance. All FINAL BALANCE money is non-refundable and non-transferable inside 14 days of the event. We regret that we cannot refund or transfer your payment after this time.
- Natural Disaster Cancellation
- In these uncertain times post-9/11, a national disaster or act of terror could render us both unable to host a planned event and unable to return your deposits. We hire staff, purchase equipment, and rent non-refundable facilities based on your reservations. Please be advised that if a Radius Camp event is cancelled due to such extraordinary circumstances, we cannot refund your deposits regardless of other published cancellation dates and deadlines.
- Weather Cancellation
- Radius Camp has your group’s safety in mind as we host events. If we are unable to host an event due to weather conditions, deposits cannot be refunded. Refunds of final balance payments will be made only if properties and/or locations refund Radius Camp for these costs. If an event is hosted as scheduled and your group cancels or reduces numbers due to weather conditions, all payments are non-refundable.
Dress Code
- What is the dress code for Radius?
- Please ask your students and adult sponsors not to pack anything that: Advertises alcohol, tobacco, illegal drugs, Explicitly or implicitly promotes racism, sexism, or hatred of any group or person, Explicitly or implicitly refers to sexual actions or situations, Has spaghetti straps, except for sleepwear, Is excessively short or tight fitting. While at camp, we ask that students and adults: Wear modest, one-piece bathing suits or two piece suits covered with a colored T-shirt. Wear modest shorts, dresses, slacks, and jeans for worship. Long pants or knee-length skirts are required for students or adults participating in worship on stage. Do not dress in a way that calls attention to their underwear (sagging your pants, rolling down your waistbands, etc),A dark t-shirt if you plan to take the messy games or water games track. We invite you to join us as leaders in monitoring your group to ensure they are dressing appropriately.

Meals
- How many meals are provided?
- Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be served on Tuesday through Thursday and are included in your camp fee. Dinner will be provided on the Monday you arrive and breakfast will be provided the Friday you depart.
Housing
- What is housing like?
- Most lodging is in local schools, churches or community centers (accommodations vary by trip). Accommodations will include areas for groups to room together by gender, a common eating area, and a program area. Showers will be available, however, they may be indoor showers (locker room style) or they may be outdoor semi-private, temporary showers. Please, make sure all campers bring a swimming suit to be prepared for any showering situation. The facilities may or may not be air-conditioned, so plan accordingly. You might want to bring a small fan. Pay phones may be available; however, there will always be an emergency phone onsite. Also, although cell phone service may be limited in some areas, leaders feel free to bring your cell.

- What is the transportation policy for Radius?
- Groups must provide adequate and appropriate transportation and drivers for students to get to ministry sites while attending RADIUS.
Ministry Sites
- Can we find out about the ministry projects we will be working with prior to our arrival at camp?
- Yes, you will be contacted by the site director with that information.
- Can we bring things such as bags of clothes, soap, canned food, etc to camp to give to ministry sites?
- Absolutely.
- Are there ways for us to continue to give and invest in the ministry sites once our week of camp is over?
- Yes, the site director will be able to give you contact information for the sites you wish.
What to bring to camp
- What do i need to bring to camp?
- Two notarized copies of the camp medical release form for each student. Make sure to keep two separate groups of these forms. One will be given to the camp director and you will keep the other.
- What do my students need to bring to camp?
- Bible, shorts and t-shirts, shoes-tennis shoes for recreation and sandals if desired, personal hygiene items, sleeping bags, sunscreen, favorite pillow, money for snacks and other optional items such as a camera.
- What should my students not bring to camp?
- Air mattresses larger than twin size, Alcohol, tobacco, illegal drugs, fireworks, any kind of weapon, radios, portable CD players, MP3 players, cell phones, water guns, water balloons, skateboards, and rollerblades.
